In-home support

I have created simple and flexible offerings that can be tailored to meet your individual needs and budget. Packages are designed to be used to best suit your specific wants and desires – be it caring for you in the early days and weeks of postpartum – or perhaps stand-alone kitchen-focused sessions dedicated to stocking your fridge, freezer and pantry while I weave in some organising magic. You may want to nut out practical help and ideas on how to create workable spaces in your home that will fit in with your daily rhythms.

The options listed below are varied and can be mixed and matched to best utilise my skills and knowledge in a way that also meets your needs – think of it as a postpartum Choose Your Own Adventure!  At the end of the day, my goal is to help you reduce the overall mental and physical load of running a household so that you can focus on caring for yourself and your family. Postpartum doesn’t end at 6 weeks or 40 days – so whether you are in the trenches of those early weeks and months or a few years further down the track – you deserve good care.

  • Cooking of warming, postpartum-specific meals and snacks (menu ideas and recipes provided)
  • Pantry, fridge and freezer stocking & organisation
  • Help setting up a meal-train
  • Putting on or folding a load of washing, changing sheets
  • A general tidy up around the house
  • Care of baby while you rest
  • General debriefing/emotional support
  • Guidance on safe bedsharing or co sleeping, setting up sleep spaces or nursery
  • Best-practice guidance on the use of carriers, bottles, dummies, cloth nappies, swaddles/wraps
  • Sharing of information, resources and referrals to help create your own village to support you
  • Supporting you in becoming more comfortable asking for help and the benefits of community care (vs ‘self-care’)
  • Help you think about and set up daily rhythms that will nurture and meet the needs of your whole family
  • Guidance on evidence-based, biologically normal infant behaviours around feeding, sleep and settling
  • Creation and organisation of spaces that will make daily life easier for you
  • Advice on conscious, intentional acquisition of items for yourself and baby through a minimal, low waste lens, so you have what you need (but without the excess and overwhelming amount of ‘stuff’ that you may have been told you need)
  • Guidance on making simple changes towards a more sustainable, lower-tox, lower-waste life

The Taster is 3 hours of in-home support and a wonderful starter option – perhaps you are not sure exactly how much support you will need but still want the opportunity to address what is important to you and get a feel like what working together might be like. Or maybe you have identified where your support gaps are and only need a few 1:1 hours together.

The Taster session also includes:

  • A shelf-stable dry-meal pack (sweet or savoury) and nourishing herbal infusion blend
  • Messaging support for one week after our session

This package includes 10 hours of in-home support to help setup a strong foundation to carry you through the early years of motherhood. If you are currently pregnant – a Postpartum Planning Session is a wonderful addition to this package.

The Foundation package also includes:

  • A personalised on-line resource directory and communication diary (Trello)
  • Access to lending and demonstration library
  • Messaging support for the duration of your package and two weeks after
  • A shelf-stable dry-meal pack (sweet or savoury) and nourishing herbal infusion blend
